Forensic Investigation

Our licensed experts are able to travel to the loss location, speak with individuals at the site, perform scientific testing, and collect the critical information to be able to solve our clients questions.

We are also able to perform remote inspections electronically, to provide a cost effective alternative to an on-site study.

Forensic Reporting

We can provide a verbal report of our investigative findings or two different levels of written reports.

Our Standard Forensic Report presents our full scientific analysis and rationale supporting our findings.

Our Expanded Forensic Report includes additional research and documentation necessary for in-depth studies.

Expert Witness

Our experts have over 20 years of extensive experience in design, construction, forensic investigation, and in litigation of building structures. We provide sound scientific findings that avoid litigation, customer support during challenged findings to further curtail litigation, and we offer full support in litigation as well.

F.A.Q.

These are some of our typical client questions

A standard investigation and report in what is considered a local distance from our office is approximately $1,950.  We can provide a more precise cost estimate if requested prior to project entry.  Expanded reports are priced by adding additional billable hours for the added research time and estimates can also be provided prior to project entry.

Once a project is entered we will contact you to confirm our understanding of the scope is clear.  We will then schedule an inspection with the contact information you have provided for us to find out how soon they are available and set an appointment to inspect the property.  We will contact you after we inspect to share our observations with you, and then provide you with a written report within 72 hours of the inspection.  If additional research or lab results are required, we will contact you to update the expected delivery of your report.

We verify with you our understanding of the scope prior to delivering a report to you so there is no misunderstanding in what you will need.  If additional assistance is needed after the initial report we can provide a supplemental report that is billed at an hourly cost.  A typical supplemental report can cost around $600.

Standard projects have an upfront retainer of $1,950 for first-time clients.  Established clients can arrange to be invoiced at the time of report delivery.
